MOVEMENT

GROUPS

Movement Groups are communities where we learn to grow as Families, Servants, and as Missionaries. We meet in groups all over the greater Columbus area on multiple different days and various times.

FAMILY

We learn more about who we are as we study God’s word in Movement groups. As we become a family in our groups, we strive to treat each other according to this identity.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession… Once you were not people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” (I Peter 2.9-10)

SERVANTS

We want to learn to love people both inside and outside our church family. This is why one week a month our Movement groups serve the community instead of meeting in a home.

“Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that … they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation” (I Peter 2.12).

MISSIONARIES

As we live out our identity of a royal priesthood (I Peter 2.9), our job is to proclaim the goodness of the gospel in our own lives to those who aren’t following Jesus yet. Movement groups welcome new people and help them learn to find their way back to God.

“…proclaim the excellences of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (I Peter 2.9)
